The Meath Youth Federation held its annual general meeting in 2010. The Boston University China Care Fund is a student-run organization that aims to empower youth and fund life-changing surgeries for Chinese orphans. They do this through various community service programs, fundraising events, and social events. Their community service programs include mentoring local immigrant students, volunteering at an after-school program, and coordinating a playgroup for adopted Chinese children. Their fundraising events include annual dance and talent shows to raise thousands for the China Care Foundation. Students are encouraged to get involved through various volunteering and leadership opportunities.

Howard Rose, the school's Funding & Publicity Manager, commented that the school is always looking for new ways to promote student health and wellness. Daniel Jaramillo - Letter of Recommendation
Daniel Jaramillo volunteered at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre from June to August 2016 as a Front of House Volunteer. During this time, he welcomed visitors, answered inquiries, checked coats, maintained the shop and reception desk areas, and assisted with other shop duties. His volunteer work was highly valued by the Cultural Centre.

The head of school praised the gardening culture developed at the school and the students' engagement with the outdoor environment. 2) Financially, LUMSOC raised funds through registration fees and sales of food and merchandise. Major expenses were for transportation to sports tournaments, food for events, and web hosting. The treasurer reported on LUMSOC's assets.
3) Looking ahead, LUMSOC will hold more sports and cultural events, fundraising activities, and religious discussions to continue building community among Malaysian students at Leeds University.

Projects of Project Matthew
Project Matthew began in 1998 serving 60 undernourished children in Mandaluyong City. It has since expanded to serve over 1,500 children across 19 sites in Payatas, Montalban, and Quezon City. In addition to providing daily meals, Project Matthew also offers scholarships and donations of clothes and toys. While the kitchen temporarily closed in 2012 due to financial difficulties, it reopened in 2013 serving 600 children across 9 barangays.

Celebrating schools October 2010

Co-developed by Jefferson Awards for Public Service and Deloitte, it is now in over 250 High Schools.
Each spring, Student Leaders from the participating schools compete in regional competitions. They are asked to report on the implementation of the program, and the impact they've had, both in their schools and within their communities.
Jo Oxlade Ambition

1. The Ekurhuleni District in Pretoria hosted an Under 19/35 Quadrangular youth tournament over the weekend of April 30-May 1, which attracted young bowlers from around Gauteng.
2. In the Under 19 competition, teams played in pools consisting of two "A" teams and two "B" teams from different districts, with pool winners and runners up advancing. The Under 35 competition featured single gender teams of 8 players playing sets of 7 ends.
3. The tournament showed that lawn bowls is growing in popularity and strength among younger players in Pretoria and the surrounding areas.
