 Implement and maintain the asset register by ensuring that all newly acquired assets are bar-
coded and captured on the system (BAUD);
 Conduct asset verification twice a year (mid and year end) to ensure if all assets are still in
order and in good condition; this includes scanning and uploading of scanned data into the
system (BAUD);
 Prepare asset management monthly reconciliation reports to ensure that BAS reports tie up
with BAUD report;
 Print asset purchases for the month on the system;
 Maintaining of all documents related to asset transactions;
 Ensuring that all regional transactions on transfers,disposal and loss control are recorded and
captured on Baud.
 Identify and compile lists for assets lost or stolen, disposal of redundant, obsolete and
unserviceable assets;
 Perform secretariat function for the disposal committee;
 Attend to all assets related queries.
Inventory Management
 Ensure that optimum stock level is maintained from time to time
 Implement and maintain stores management control and distribution of inventory measures;
 Replenishment of stores items;
 Receiving of stock from suppliers in consultation with logistics management unit;
