3. WHY IS IT POPULAR?
• Known for a fun loving drug
• Popular for young people attending big festivities
• Usually taken in settings of bright lights, amplified sounds
• Increases stimulation, emotional intimacy

4. PHYSICAL EFFECTS OF MDMA
• Increases activity of three brain chemicals (Dopamine,
Norepinephrine, Serotonin)
• Nausea
• Blurred vision
• Muscle cramping
• Sweating

5. EMOTIONAL EFFECTS OF MDMA
• Aggression
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Decreased appetite
• Decreased interest in sex/intimacy
