3. Sexual Development
• Sexual desires and fantasies increases as puberty develops.
• For boys, the body starts releasing hormones that result to testicles to grow
bigger and start to release testosterone (pubic hair).
• Erections develop, when sperm and semen discharge through the penis this
is called ejaculation .
• For females, periods develop to get the body ready for future pregnancy
(uterus develops eggs to fertilize with a sperm cell to form a baby).
• The Period process happens every month and be shorter or last longer than
previous times.

4. What is important to understand?
• Important to keep your body clean by bathing on a regular basis
to prevent any infections and acne development t (Just soap and
water does the trick).
• There is no one type of normal. Body growth is determined by
parents’ genes.
• Asking question is normal when going through puberty (Mom,
Dad, Siblings, Doctor) are beneficial resources.
