I have been working for 37+ years in varied IT fields from Grass Root Levels to the Management of Mega IT
Projects. I am dynamic in seventies and would like to take up challenges as advisory / consultancy roles on part time

Currently, I am working as Additional General Manager - IT at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre
from March 2012 and deeply involved in Data Centre Dress up, DR Setup, Email Setup, Operations & Management,
Planning & Budgeting, Overhauling of LAN / WAN, Building up redundancies in infrastructure to fully automate the
hospital in real time(24x7) using fully integrated world class healthcare S/W- HIS, CIS & PACS and many other allied

Before normal superannuation from Indian Telephone Industries Ltd, henceforth called as “ITI Ltd” ( The Govt. of
India PSU - a multi location Telecom Equipment Manufacturing & Services Company ), I had headed Corporate
HRD & Information Technology (IS&IT) wing of its Corporate Office of at the level of Additional General Manager (A
Scheduled Position as per BPE, Govt. Of India) and was also managing external IT Projects of mega customers
like BSNL, MTNL, Railways, Defense, etc.
As the CIO of ITI Ltd, I was handling in house IT Planning, Budgeting & control. I used to give approval for
Technical Specifications for HW/SSW/NW/Applications for Procurement & Installation, Commissioning. I had setup
Corporate LAN, WAN, Internet, Intranet, Email and all common applications required for all locations of ITI Ltd.
I had worked on IBM Mainframe Systems (MVS, VM, VSE, RSCS/N, JCL, CICS, VSAM, etc) for about 11 Years. I
had undergone training in London/France on installation and maintenance of IBM’s VM/SP, RSCS/N, VSE/SP CICS,
VSAM, etc and carried out extensive work on installation & maintenance of these systems at Mankapur Plant of ITI
Ltd including the application development, guidance and supervision under these systems. I guided the entire team
for application development under MVS using TSO/E, COBOL, CICS, VSAM, JCL, etc.
