wellness! Take time and discover what helps you
to feel good and recharge.
Focus on healthy habits
and routines.
Some of the things we do for our physical
health, like getting enough sleep, eating well,
and exercising are also good for our mental
health.

4. Virtual BASE Hangout
Class code: nwek2zo
We have missed you! We are excited for you to join us at
the Google Classroom BASE using code nwek2zo. We are
looking forward to chatting, catching up and hanging out!
Come and visit us starting this Monday, May 25th at 1:00pm.
Ms. Wollborn and Ms.Shering (CYW) are excited to hear
from you!

5. Virtual Yoga Club with Mrs. Lancia
Students and families are invited to join Mrs. Lancia this Thursday, May 21st at 4:30 for a half
hour Yoga Club meeting on Google Meet! We aim to meet every Thursday at this time.
● Know that other students and their families will be able to see/hear your child (unless
you turn off the video/mic options). Your child will also be able to see/hear other
students.
● Students are expected to behave appropriately (as they would be expected to behave at
school). Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
● Prior to Thursday, families are encouraged to explore the Google Meet function.
Students must be signed in to their student Google account. Users can then click on
the “Google Apps” button (at the top right hand corner of the screen - the nine grey
squares). You’ll then see “Meet” appear in the options presented, which you’ll select
next. Students will be then prompted to join or start a meeting. You can join our meeting
by entering our meeting code: irs-mwmd-wsp
● I will have my e-mail (clancia@scdsb.on.ca) open, so please e-mail me if you are having
a hard time logging in and I will do my best to help. You’ve got this!
