2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
It is a two-hour enhancement
session every week intended to all
grade 10 students.
3. It can be conducted during school
days or during weekends.
However if during school days, it
should be made sure that other
subjects are not affected as the
required number of hours of
attendance of students per week.
4. On the other hand if conducted
during weekends approval of
concerned parents must be
considered after explaining the
importance of such activity.
5. This project will focus on
answering/solving worded
multiple-type questions with four
options per item.
One to two NAT-based and least
learned competencies shall be
addressed per session by giving
five varied questions from easy,
average to difficult questions.
6. It is a pre-test, discussion, post-
test scheme
The questions are to be answered
by a pair of students preferably a
combination of average and basic
students.
7. There shall be two teachers
The questions are to be answered

8. There shall be two teachers in
such class, Facilitator 1 (F1),
Facilitator 2 (F2)
Facilitator 1 to discuss solutions
and
Facilitator 2 to assist in the
preparation of the session’s
activity at the end of the project.
9. The project aims to:
-increase Math MPS by at
least 4% over the pre-test
-improve Math quarterly MPS
by at least 3% over the
preceeding quarterly
-raise Math NAT MPS

and the school as well, through
improved learning outcomes.

pre-requisite concepts during

23. The F2 do the preparatory activities
and arrange students in pair.
The working pair together answer the
posted 5 questions by the F2.
Each pair shall be given small piece
of manila paper to write their
solutions and answers to each
problem.
24. After the students are done, the
Facilitator 1 will verify their answers,
discuss solutions, give correct
answer and give other additional
questions if necessary especially for
the items where majority failed to
answer correctly.
25. Fifteen minutes before the session
ends, another 5- item test parallel to
the one given before shall be
administered to assess the learning
of the students.
26. Results will be recorded in a tracking
chart for monitoring and
enhancement. Remedial session
should be attended by teachers
assigned as F2 if deemed necessary,
questions for re teaching should be
prepared by the F1.
27. Project EASE- UP will be
implemented starting from giving of a
pre-test composed of 60- item
multiple-type test and to be answered
by Grade 6/10 learners.

28. During the actual
implementation, the teacher-
in- charge will monitor the
performance of the teachers.
MPS of the competencies of
the session will be determined
every end of the session.

and use tracking report.

30. Output of the project will be
based on the reports submitted
quarterly by the SHs to the SDO.

competencies addressed per
session.
