K-12 Curriculum
Recommended
Curriculum
This curriculum is recommended by DepEd and
other educational institutions as a part of the Basic Education
Curriculum which centers on the learners math problem solving
skills and
critical thinking.
5. It is located within the School
District..
Syllabus, Book, Lesson Plan ,Modules
Written
Curriculum
The general goals and objectives to be
achieved are stated in this curriculum. This
can be found in documents created locally
and states. It usually developed by curriculum
experts working with instructors.
6. It is located in laboratory and inside the classroom
Experiments, demonstrations, group work, hands on
activity
TAUGHT
CURRICULUM
This form of curriculum outlines the actual
teaching methods used by teachers. This
form of curriculum is less predictable and less
standardized because the way a teacher
presents the material may differ from one to
the next.
7. Located in a classroom, learning resource center
and/or library.
Projectors, Books , Computer
Supported
Curriculum
These are the materials that support the
teaching and learning of teachers and
students. It helps in creating a meaningful,
interactive, and effective learning
environment.
8. It can be located within the assessments
crafted by instructors, schools or
educational institutions.
Paper and Pencil Test Oral
Examination Performance Task
Portfolio
Assessed
Curriculum
An assessed curriculum, often
referred to as a tested curriculum,
comprises activities or assessments
given after discussions. These are
intended to measure students'
progress and achievements
9. Performance of the students
Subject matter and knowledge they
learned from a course.
LEARNED
CURRICULUM
This includes the subject matter and
knowledge they learned from a
course, but it can also include
additional changes in attitude and
emotional wellbeing.
10. Character of Students
School Environment.
HIDDEN
CURRICULUM
Hidden curriculum can be defined
as the lessons that are taught
informally, and usually
unintentionally, in a school system..
11. Pair and compare
with a lesson plan
I. Behavioral Objectives: -
In the lesson plan observation,
the behavioral verbs were
appropriately used to align with
the topic. The teacher set
objectives that are Specific,
Measurable, Achievable, Time-
bound, and Realistic (SMART).
The teacher also addressed the
three domains: cognitive,
psychomotor, and affective.
12. Pair and compare
with a lesson plan
II. Content: -
The content of the lesson
plan aligns well with the
learning objectives established
by the teacher, making it easily
understandable for the
students.

IV. Assessment/Evaluation: -
During the evaluation, the teacher
continued to employ effective strategies.
Upon reviewing the lesson plan, it is
evident that the assessment successfully
aligns with the desired outcomes set by
the teacher in the objectives.

15. ICT & NON-ICT
Motivation- Non Ict using verbal
Presentation- ICT using PPT
Development-Non ICT using tarpapel
Generalization- Non ICT using verbal
Application- ICT using PPT Evaluation-
Non ICT using paper.
16. ICT & NON-ICT
I noticed in the flow of activities that both ict and
non ict were used. In motivation she used verbal
then by presenting the discussion she used ppt and
in the development of the lesson she used tarpapel
and in generalization using verbal she ask questions
and also she give quiz for her evaluation using paper.
By combining traditional learning and modern
learning the discussion become successful and
interactive.
After your observation, what did you notice about the flow of activities and
the congruence of each activity to the objective/intended learning outcome?
Elucidate your answer.
17. Analyze
1. How did you know that there exist such curriculum in the
DepEd Schools/ Laboratory Schools?
We are aware that there are seven different types of
curricula in DepEd schools and laboratories. An
effective curriculum offers a measurable approach and
structure for providing quality education to
teachers, students,
and other stakeholders. A curriculum that guarantees
students are on track to achieve their goals and
gain desirable skills This was made evident during
the discussion and was also noted in the pre-class
briefing for observers.
18. Analyze
2. How can educational experiences be effectively organized and
contribute to the attainment of objectives/ intended learning
outcomes?
Extend the learning by requiring the learners to create
another scenario to apply the new skill or knowledge and
require them to explain the connection. The most effective
educational experiences are efficiently organized with the
end goals the focus and the teacher’s knowledge of the
learners guiding the pedagogical chooses. You will know the
educational experiences are effective because the goals
reached by the majority of the class
19. Analyze
3. From the lesson plan, evaluate the resources and compare it
with the actual resources utilized in the classroom.
Both ICT and Non-ICT were used to deliver the content. From
PowerPoint Presentation to LED projector, also the
blackboard was used to write important details about the
topic. Using the technology and traditional learning
materials made the discussion smooth and interactive.
20. Reflect
1. As a pre-service teacher, how do you plan, manage and implement
developmentally sequenced teaching and learning process to meet
curriculum requirement in varied teaching context?
I certainly agree that teaching is a skill that may be learned as a
pre-service
teacher. Regardless of a student's background, abilities, or skills, it is
important to
facilitate appropriate learning processes in all students. Innovative
class delivery is
necessary to guarantee that students are receiving the intended
information. To ensure
that students understand how to complete an exercise or test
correctly, it must be
carefully planned and organized.
21. Reflect
2. How do you set achievable and appropriate learning outcomes which
are aligned with learning competencies?
Teachers adhere to guidelines established by DepEd, CHED, or
TESDA while creating lesson plans. In addition, the school
provides textbooks and other materials for teachers to
utilize in the classroom. Writing a learning outcome
requires teachers to consider the departmental or school
curriculum. It is also necessary to be aware of the topic or
material in order to develop practical and realistic learning
objectives. A goal needs to be understood to be
accomplished. For instance, a teacher might spend a week
teaching math operations in an orderly manner.
