INTRODUCTION
In recent years,the faculty of architecture design and development has expirience a rapid increase in
population,causing a strain on its physical resources,and hence necessitating the exploration of a novel idea of
separation and design of a separate school of architecture.The new school of architectue would free space
within the existing FADD building to be used by the school ofv art and design,School of planning,and school of
real estate and construction management ,jointly used spaces such us the workshop and space 10,
environmental laboratory and exhibition spaces would continue to be used by the school of architecture.

Architecture schools are centres of creative
arts &innovationas such the New school of
architecture building must shhowcase creativity
and portray architecture school as a place of
thought,discussion and reflection This creativity
can be displayed through dynamic interplay of
the additive form with regards to the Existing
ADD structure
RESPECTING THE EXISTING BUILFING
In an effort to respect the existing building
which commands the site with its granduer
and strategic placement few elements
synonimous to the existing building (ADD)
were borrowed and redefined in the new
building
