2. Introduction
Hello,
My name is Marybeth Wallace. I have taught both First Grade and
Kindergarten for the pass ten years. Prior to teaching, I was a R.N. for
twenty- five years. What can I say... I love learning new things!
I teach Kindergarten in Maynard, MA. Yes, where the "Journey" begins!
Last year, I was a student in the MA RETELL SEI (Sheltered English
Immersion) Pilot Program. It was fun being a student and learning new ELL
strategies, so I thought; why not continue my own educational journey this
year. I enrolled in the Literacy CAGS because I believe, if you can read and
write your dreams can come true. I want to be the best Literacy Teacher
that I can be in order to empower my five and six year olds with the tools
they need to become strong readers and writers.
Enjoy the last days of summer. I look forward to learning with and from all
of you.
Take care,
Marybeth
