1. To Whom It May Concern:
When I first spoke to Dew Tinnin of Southwestern Consulting regarding their coaching program, she
stated I have the perfect coach for you. Little did not know at that time how true that statement was to become!
I began a series of individual conference calls with my coach, Becca Rust. One of the first things she
encouraged me to do was a “Vision Board”, which I did immediately. It was fun to do – but it also made me
“think” a lot about past events in my life, current circumstances, and future hopes and dreams.
This was followed by encouraging (and requiring) me to keep track of The Critical Success Factors to
reach my goals. Being accountable to her was an important part of my week. She really cared. I did not wish
to disappoint her!
Becca offered support by reviewing lots of fundamentals I already knew and she encouraged me to put
them into my daily routine. Creating a calendar and making sure it was timely, contained certain functions
absolutely necessary, and time for self. The calendar is a tremendous help in “seeing” what needs to be done
and how I can schedule it. “Picking up” when interruptions occur, and getting back on track, became easier to
accomplish.
I looked forward to my calls with Becca. Nothing – stopped me from those calls!!
In summary, I review every week some of my notes of our discussions. I keep my calendar and a
weekly log sheet of my activities and customers from each week. When I do the new calendar on Sunday
evenings, I can readily see who I need to reach out to for follow up. Becca Rust was instrumental in
encouraging me on a daily basis, even though our calls were not “daily”. I highly recommend her to anyone
who wants to improve their skills and brighten their horizon!
