After the 2008 buyout of Marvel from Disney, they made an iron Man film 2 years
later and first introduced different characters from the comics into one film.
Nick Fury and Black Widow was introduced. It performed well in Box office: 623.9
million USD with a budget of 200 million USD. They then continued to introduce
different characters till Avengers Assemble, it introduced all of the superheroes
so far e.g. Hulk, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Nick Fury, Hawkeye,
Thor. It proved to be their highest grossing film and Disney made 1.519 billion
USD. They continued to make Avengers films and in 2019 Avengers Endgame made
2.796 Billion USD which made it the highest grossing film of all time. In TV Shows
Netflix bought rights to use Marvel characters in their own TV Shows Daredevil
was the most watched Netflix original TV show, with Luke Cage third and Jessica
Jones 5th.
3. Publishing Products
Disney makes huge amounts of money from Merchandise at their Disney Shops
and various other shops. Marvel continues to publish comics of all their
characters. In the 2019 Super bowl there was an Avengers Endgame Super bowl
Advertisement and it cost around $5 million dollars.
4. Interactive Products
There are a range of Marvel Lego games and they are going to make an new
Avengers game this year. Marvel have made various mobile games such as
Marvel: Contest of Champions where you play all your favourite Villains and
Superheros.
