Details regarding counseling of
students
Student Counselor
In the periodical department meetings, the student counselor analyzes
the results of Mid examination and evaluate the performance of
students and suggest suitable corrective actions.
Students attendance will be collected at every fortnight. Students who
got below 75% attendance, they are counseled by the counselor
After the Mid exams, performance of the students in exam will be
checked and counseled, who get less than 50% and extra classes will be
conducted for them
Counseling by
Head of the Department
 The HOD monitors the attendance and performance of students and
report the same to the Principal.
 The HOD gives direction to students in all their curricular &
co-curricular activities.
 The HOD and the concerned faculty members counsel the students
whose performance in learning is consistently unsatisfactory so that
such students are motivated to take corrective steps to improve their
performance in studies.
Class Teacher(CT)
 For each class one faculty member will be assigned as Class Teacher
(CT) to monitor the class schedule(Time Table)
 The CT collects the attendance from all class teachers who are going to
that class after every fifteen days and reports will be generated.
 The CT will collects the marks from the faculty members of that class
and reports will be generated after analysis.
 The CT Submits the attendance and marks reports to the HOD, and the
students who are not regular for classes , and whose performance is
poor in the exams are counseled by the class counselors
Special classes for Slow Learners
To improve the performance of academically weak students
Identifying the slow learners at the end of the First Mid in each
semester
Identifying the back loggers at the end of each semester
(University examinations)
Various strategies are adopted for getting individual attentions
like assignments, self study topics, NPTEL video presentations,
open book test etc.,
Attendance monitoring
system
 In order to maintain minimum attendance percentage i.e. 75% as per
JNTUK University.
1. Once in every fifteen days , we take the list of students who have
attendance less than 75%.
2. We collect Undertaking Forms duly signed by all the students.
3. If a student is having attendance less than 75% in more than a slot,
then the parents of such students are called.
4. If the parents are not responding or not able to be contacted, then
arrangements are made to send letters .
