Main Project
BTS
These are the photos I took while doing my photoshoot, I adjusted the lighting and the
angle of my photo to get the results I wanted. With the lighting I used equipment like the
light box for the lighting, I experimented with doing outside and inside shots, comparing
the inside box lighting or the natural lighting and which one has the best results. I found
that I preferred the natural lighting and to take pictures at places like the beach or in a car
to fit the brief more. On the day of shooting at the beach, it was raining so we had to
improvise and change the expectations of the shoot because of time, I had hoped that
the shoot from the beach would be spring but instead it was heavily raining, this changed
the tone of the shoot a lot but I had to improvise and I like how the shoot ended up.
Logistic Detail
- The equipment that was used is cameras, tripods and lighting (box lights)
- The key set up for this project was the angle being straight forward or over the shoulder shot, I did use the box lights indoors
at first but then the key set up became the natural lighting because I preferred it.
Obstacles
The obstacles I faced in this project was the weather, the weather was estimated to be average, but when the shoot was taken
outdoors it was heavily raining, this allowed me to change the tone of my shoot and gave me an opportunity to go outside the
box, in my shoot I decided to do the ‘Journey of water’ with some occasional car pictures to link back to the travel aspect of
journeys as well.
Time management
For the time management, I have scheduled with my models and set a time with them and the locations
we would be shooting at. This allowed me to get all equipment ready in the right time, and to get all of
the right angles etc.
