Magazine competition
- 1. Magazine Competition In an attempt to make my magazine as successful as possible, I have completed research into Empire and Total Film magazines as these are my two biggest magazine competition.
- 2. Empire Magazine Empire magazine has a target audience age range of, predominantly, 15-25 with their secondary audience being 26-45. Approximately 75% of their target audience is male; making this gender the main target. Due to my primary target audience being 16-25 year olds and my secondary target audience being 30-40 years old (with both of these being predominantly male), Empire magazine is a large threat to my target audience as our audiences are extremely similar.
- 3. Total Film Magazine Total Films target audience age range is between the ages of 18 and 35, with the average age being 26; this magazine is aimed at both genders yet, 75% of the audience is male. The audience is made up of dedicated film goers and enthusiasts who regularly watch movies on a variety of platforms and watches a range of genres. As a result of this, Total Films audience is extremely similar to mine meaning that they are a large threat to my magazine.
