This document discusses a research project examining the impact of seating arrangements on behavior for low-attaining students. It notes that while schools focus on behavior, the classroom environment is often overlooked. The research will study the standard boy-girl seating policy and two other arrangements to see how seating in a non-standard classroom impacts behavior and learning. It provides context on the school, including that it is in a socially deprived area and has above average numbers of students eligible for free school meals.
