* Receives complaint(s)/statement(s) from the Front Counter, (General Public), creates
files, and relays information to Officer/ Investigator for action, creates files on Data base
(PROS), assigns to member and initiates initial task
* Create and Review files to insure all information is captured correctly, such as Subject of
Complaint, Complainant, and Subject Chargeable, contact information, charges (whether
criminal code or traffic safety act, etc.) also ensure that all information is linked
appropriately, all RCMP members are tasked accordingly, etc. etc.
* Sign in Probationer’s weekly, as well as take phone calls from Probationer’s weekly as
they are required to report to detachment directly, advise Probation Officer and Lead
Member when they are not meeting legal requirements and conditions of probation
* Responds to requests for police assistance and reports of illegal activity (often from
extremely frightened/emotional or injured individuals). Employs basic psychology to
calm the caller, obtains necessary information to dispatch members(s) and emergency
personnel and when necessary maintains ongoing communication with callers until police
arrive.
* Completes accident reports, registration for various programs, and criminal record
checks.
* Performs CPIC and PROS inquiries for the general public, for regular members, for
Peace Officers, for applications, checks included vehicle checks, person check, criminal
record check, also perform entries such as warrants, Special Interest persons’ (SIPS),
Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs) , etc.,
* Provides information to ambulances and other support services to accident/occurrence
scenes.
* Transcription of handwritten material and Dictaphone material.
* Type a variety of reports, memoranda, forms and charts.

* Responsible for various special projects as they arise, such as created a video library for
Enoch and Paul Band reserves for members to teach to community members, as well as
staff and students of the schools. Each library was created in a roll away case, included
24 files, I created a synopsis of each video as well as a power point presentation.

* Responsible for unit budget of $250k
* Knowledge of internal organization of RCMP headquarters, directorates and divisions,
including lines of authority, titles and subject matter to research information for forms
processing and projects
* Managed the unit’s financial services on behalf of the O.I. C.(Officer in Charge)
including monitoring of expenditures, ensuring financial controls are adhered to,
processing invoices, monitoring and updating data bank, making forecasts and comparing
forecast to actual expenditures - Generated financial reports, conducted researches, and
assisted management in the preparation of monthly budget forecast and work plans
* Prepared and coordinated POWPM’s (Program Oriented Work Planning Meetings) and
Training sessions such as Aboriginal Perception training and Spiritual Camps
* Organized and coordinated a broad range of support services to Aboriginal Policing
services such as management of agenda, organized meetings, management of

Employs basic psychology to calm the caller, obtains necessary information to dispatch members(s) and emergency personnel and when necessary maintains ongoing communication with callers until police arrive. * Completes accident reports, registration for various programs, and criminal record checks. * Performs CPIC and PROS inquiries for the general public, for regular members, for Peace Officers, for applications, checks included vehicle checks, person check, criminal record check, also perform entries such as warrants, Special Interest persons’ (SIPS), Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs) , etc., * Provides information to ambulances and other support services to accident/occurrence scenes. * Transcription of handwritten material and Dictaphone material. * Type a variety of reports, memoranda, forms and charts. * Responsible for requesting quotes for special projects, when needed * Responsible for various special projects as they arise, such as created a video library for Enoch and Paul Band reserves for members to teach to community members, as well as staff and students of the schools.
