This document discusses a new technology called adsorbed natural gas that can power boats. It has already been demonstrated to successfully power a converted Toyota Corolla for a year. The technology uses a nanotechnology adsorbent that soaks up natural gas at low pressure, allowing boats to fill up from a conventional natural gas line using a cheaper compressor than compressed natural gas. It has developed an onboard storage tank and engine modification to power commercial vessels using adsorbed natural gas with a target range of over 200 miles between refills.
