This document provides instructions for editing video footage and adding text in a video editing software: 1) To import video footage, click "file" then "import" and select the desired video, which will appear on the timeline. 2) To cut clips, click on the section of the video you want to cut on the timeline, then right click and select "cut" to remove unwanted portions. 3) To add text, click the "T" icon which brings up a black screen to add text over the footage. Place the text clip above the video on the timeline.
