Planning and Optimization of transport costs and CO2 in a single application
LogCOST supports the planning of transport/ logistics costs and CO2 down to product level.
Big Data - No need for data aggregation
With LogCOST on SAP HANA we were able to process operational data directly. There was no need for aggregation and/or a
simplified model which saves significant effort.
Increased accuracy
Results are 3-4 times more accurate. As no simplifying was needed, a direct link to actual data is possible and enables early
warnings and identification of the reasons for cost variances before budget limits are exceeded - variance to actual costs
decreased by a factor of 3-4.
Decrease of calculation time
Comparable complex calculation used to take several days - due to the InMemory Technology of SAP HANA it is now done in real
time. Several what-if-scenarios can be done in a few hours instead of several days.
