We have all had a shy learner in the class.
You know, that learner who stays very silent during class work.
The one who stares at her desk when you are looking for your learners to answer.
The one who did his homework but never gave the answers aloud.

Although it is great to have a range of different personality and temperaments learners in a classroom, teachers have to worry if learners are always quiet.
It is not about getting these students to ‘overcome’ their shyness or turning them into extroverted students. It is about encouraging and supporting them, creating a learning environment that they feel comfortable in. They will provide you with a little more, but it takes time.
They are not being disruptive or creating problems for the rest of the class, which makes it easy to just let them fade into the background and consider shyness as not special educational need, But putting in the effort to get those learners to participate is a big challenge for teachers.
As a teacher, supporting and encouraging shy students in your class can sometimes be one of those ‘thoughts’ you have every good intention of focusing on.
Shyness is a difficulty experienced by many learners. Learners who are shy will experience anxiety and want to avoid many educational situations. Teachers may falsely belief these students are less capable and less intelligent. As a result, these students are unable to reach their full potential in the academic setting.
Teachers and other staff must be aware of the needs of shy students as well as know how to address them
Teachers have many ideas about their shy students. Most agree that shyness can negatively impact student futures. However, we have seen that this does not have to be the case.

Desk drawers in classrooms are unnecessary and can cause problems. Students often use desk drawers as trash cans to dispose of snack wrappers and rubbish, which can attract mosquitoes if left too long. Drawers are also used for cheating on tests by hiding answer sheets. Desk drawers are useless for schools that provide lockers for students or use a moving class system, since items could be forgotten when changing classrooms. Schools should prohibit food and drinks in classrooms and provide lockers instead of desks with drawers.

We have all had a shy learner in the class.
You know, that learner who stays very silent during class work.
The one who stares at her desk when you are looking for your learners to answer.
The one who did his homework but never gave the answers aloud.
The one who got great mark and teacher thinks he or she cheated because such learners never take part in the lessons nor behave as their mates
Although it is great to have a range of different personality and temperaments learners in a classroom, teachers have to worry if learners are always quiet.
It is not about getting these students to ‘overcome’ their shyness or turning them into extroverted students. It is about encouraging and supporting them, creating a learning environment that they feel comfortable in. They will provide you with a little more, but it takes time.
They are not being disruptive or creating problems for the rest of the class, which makes it easy to just let them fade into the background and consider shyness as not special educational need, But putting in the effort to get those learners to participate is a big challenge for teachers.
As a teacher, supporting and encouraging shy students in your class can sometimes be one of those ‘thoughts’ you have every good intention of focusing on.
Shyness is a difficulty experienced by many learners. Learners who are shy will experience anxiety and want to avoid many educational situations. Teachers may falsely belief these students are less capable and less intelligent. As a result, these students are unable to reach their full potential in the academic setting.
Teachers and other staff must be aware of the needs of shy students as well as know how to address them
Teachers have many ideas about their shy students. Most agree that shyness can negatively impact student futures. However, we have seen that this does not have to be the case.
Hortatory exposition
Desk drawers in classrooms are unnecessary and can cause problems. Students often use desk drawers as trash cans to dispose of snack wrappers and rubbish, which can attract mosquitoes if left too long. Drawers are also used for cheating on tests by hiding answer sheets. Desk drawers are useless for schools that provide lockers for students or use a moving class system, since items could be forgotten when changing classrooms. Schools should prohibit food and drinks in classrooms and provide lockers instead of desks with drawers.

Locker issue

- 2. SETTING / BACKGROUND Problems with their old, small, destroyed lockers, and about the locker policies. School can't afford the cost of replacing all the locker. Students have problem with school but school can't accept their arguments.
- 3. STUDENT'S POINT OF VIEW 1. Too small for students to keep all of their belongings like textbooks, notebooks, portfolios, and posters. 2. Some lockers are destroyed. 3. Few students still didn't get locker yet. 4. It's annoying when they have to lock their locker every single break between classes. 5. School must provide comfortable environment that would help students to focus on studying more.
- 4. SCHOOL'S POINT OF VIEW Can't afford the cost of replacing all the locker. Students should take care of their locker themselves. It is not school destroying or damaging locker but student them selves. School can't remove the locking locker policy. Locker needs to be lock to secure and protect. It is student's responsibility to take care of their things. School can't have a responsible of lost items of student's. Locking locker is student's own good.
- 5. INTERVIEWS Etash G9B He doesn't have locker because his locker broke on the first day of school He is sharing locker with other student and does not have enough space. School told him that they will bring a new locker but they haven't which is already 3 month passed. He doesn't like school locking locker policy because it takes too long time and sometimes is unnecessary. He worries if he lock his locker then he may loose the key for it and can not open his locker which contains his stuff.
- 6. Yugi G9B He doesn't have problem with locking locker policy but he has problem with his locker. His locker is ruined, serious damage. It takes hard to close the locker, need a lot of force to close and open the door of locker. School still haven't change his locker. He also needs more space locker. Mr. Brian Salter Blinko (Teacher of Language Department) He agree that the old locker should be replace. He doesn't agree with changing school lock policy. He believes that it is student's responsibility to take care of his/her stuff and it needs to be lock. School can't protect and secure student's belongings. "There is reason why it calls 'locker'! " said Mr. Brian.
- 7. THE BEST WAY... We concluded that we need to find a best way to fix this problem for students and school as soon as possible. Replacing all the old lockers into new lockers but remaining the locker policies. Teachers and students must respect each others opinion so we could fix this problem.
