                              Date: Last Sunday in October
                              Where: Henderson Park, West Auckland - opposite Corban Estate
                              What: The annual festival taking the West to the rest featuring
                              top quality music, a unique local marketplace and creating
                              participation in Waitakere's Eco City values and community
                              initiatives on the day.

                              + ATTENDANCE
                              2010: Organised in 5 weeks with no budget. Attendance: 2500
LISA CRAWLEY                  2011: Organised in 8 weeks with small budget. Attendance: 5000
                              2012: Organised well in advance and well resourced. Expected
                              attendance: 15-20,000

                              + Media
                              Facebook page: 260 likes and over 3000 views in the month
                              before the festival in 2011
                              Facebook event page: 500 RSVPs for 2011 festival
                              Eventfinder listing got more than 50,000 hits
                              Both festivals received coverage in the NZ Herald + radio
                              interviews on KiwiFM and Radio Live and promotion on bFM.

PROJECT TWIN STREAMS          23 vendors booked in 2011 festival including food and community
                              / charity stands
                              Plan to add 50 more for-profit vendors for the 2012 festival.

BRONZE :: PRESENCE
Giving Localist a presence at the Viva Waitakere Festival 2012 – bringing more eyes and ears to your brand.
This includes:
•	 Having the Localist Kombi and tent on site in our marketplace
•	 Localist provides Wifi with their website as the landing page
•	 Vendors are encouraged to sign up for Localist listings and will have Localist signage on every stall reminding festival-goers to rate and
      rave about their business
•	 Our MC will alert people to the Wifi and and encourage them to visit the Viva Waitakere Festival page to rate their experience and add
      photos
•	 Localist logo will feature on festival promotional materials along with other sponsors
SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL TO LOCALIST
silver :: PRemium promotion
Demonstrating the power of the Localist service on the day; combining the best, most iconic West businesses with the most engaged group
of Westies to create an instant West Auckland Localist community and concentration and inspiring quality user-generated content. Facilitating
awareness and engagement and giving people actual experience of Localist – proving they really do know what’s good around here.
This includes:
•	 Everything in the Bronze level
•	   We will identify and broker relationships with 5 iconic West Auckland businesses who are independent, unique and absolutely of this
     locality (in other words, a perfect fit for Localist). These businesses will be get a premium listing on Localist launched on the day of the
     festival, promoting the benefits of premium listings.
•	   On the day we will create the experience of these businesses at the festival with five ‘pop-up shops’ creating a Localist branded mini-
     marketplace.
•	   Festival-goers will be incentivised to sign up, create their Localist profile and rate and rave about their experience of these iconic
     businesses in the Localist marketplace, as well as the vendors and performing bands we will have listed through a specially designed one
     day rewards scheme.
•	   Our MC will prompt festival-goers to be in to win this great prize throughout the day to catalyse this participation, and you will be able to
     install prominent signage promoting the opportunity.
•	   We will also provide a Localist-branded catered chill-out space with beanbags/couches etc for you and the West Auckland ‘Top 25’
     Localists found through promotion in the lead up to the event
SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL TO LOCALIST
GOLD :: PARtNERING
Opportunity for Localist to align itself with a unique festival that has captured the hearts and minds of passionate locals in West Auckland;
keeping alive the strong local identity and through Eco City ‘action’ having a lasting impact on the community well beyond the day of the
event. Tremendous chance to build the authenticity of Localist’s brand with an audience that is already incredibly passionate about local. Here
Localist will be taking sponsorship from a a passive to an active role - genuinely enabling and enhancing an already great event.
This includes:
•	 Everything at Bronze and Silver levels
•	   Naming rights to the festival so that all pre-event marketing will incorporate Localist colours and logo
•	   Kudos when dealing with the national media and other PR opportunities that will come from our strong story, fresh positioning and
     prominent champions; positioning Localist as a business that is truly supporting local and community.
•	   Unique Localist brand experience demonstrating local values through action engaging festival-goers in planting the food forest in the
     park.
•	   To make this brand experience truly local we will recruit an army of prominent Westies to be Localist representatives on the day (the
     ‘Localist Westies’) wearing your brand, leading the action and connecting people with your brand and service on the most human level
     possible.
•	   We will create a post-event video that will be Localist branded

Facilitating awareness and engagement and giving people actual experience of Localist – proving they really do know what’s good around here. This includes: • Everything in the Bronze level • We will identify and broker relationships with 5 iconic West Auckland businesses who are independent, unique and absolutely of this locality (in other words, a perfect fit for Localist). These businesses will be get a premium listing on Localist launched on the day of the festival, promoting the benefits of premium listings. • On the day we will create the experience of these businesses at the festival with five ‘pop-up shops’ creating a Localist branded mini- marketplace. • Festival-goers will be incentivised to sign up, create their Localist profile and rate and rave about their experience of these iconic businesses in the Localist marketplace, as well as the vendors and performing bands we will have listed through a specially designed one day rewards scheme. • Our MC will prompt festival-goers to be in to win this great prize throughout the day to catalyse this participation, and you will be able to install prominent signage promoting the opportunity. • We will also provide a Localist-branded catered chill-out space with beanbags/couches etc for you and the West Auckland ‘Top 25’ Localists found through promotion in the lead up to the event

Tremendous chance to build the authenticity of Localist’s brand with an audience that is already incredibly passionate about local. Here Localist will be taking sponsorship from a a passive to an active role - genuinely enabling and enhancing an already great event. This includes: • Everything at Bronze and Silver levels • Naming rights to the festival so that all pre-event marketing will incorporate Localist colours and logo • Kudos when dealing with the national media and other PR opportunities that will come from our strong story, fresh positioning and prominent champions; positioning Localist as a business that is truly supporting local and community. • Unique Localist brand experience demonstrating local values through action engaging festival-goers in planting the food forest in the park. • To make this brand experience truly local we will recruit an army of prominent Westies to be Localist representatives on the day (the ‘Localist Westies’) wearing your brand, leading the action and connecting people with your brand and service on the most human level possible. • We will create a post-event video that will be Localist branded
