4. Be Respectful:
Be polite and use appropriate language and images when communicating with
others in email, posts, or other communications.
Do not share your own or others’ login information or other personal
information.
Don’t use or share other’s information without their permission and give credit
to the author(s) when you do.
Be Responsible:
Only use applications or visit websites that your teacher has given permission
to use.
Don’t post anonymously.
Be Safe:
Don’t do anything that might damage computers, tablets, or other
electronic devices either intentionally or by being careless.
Let a trusted adult know if you’ve been bullied online.
Tell a trusted adult if you see anything on the internet that makes
you feel scared, confused, or upset.

5. LMC FAQ
Q: How often will my student visit the library?
A: All classes visit the library once a week for a 45 minute
class.
Q: How many books can a student check out?
A: This year, all students will start with one book. As the
year progresses, two book check out will occur for grades
3-5.
Q: How long do students keep their library books?
A: All books are due back in one week.
6. LMC FAQ Continued
Q: Can students renew their library booK?
A: Students must bring in their book to renew it. This
eliminates the problem of renewing a book because it
was simply forgotten.
Q: What do I do if my child has lost/damaged a book?
A:Contact Mrs. Martin with a note or voicemail. She will
give you a bill for the replacement cost.
