epidemiologist and leads ILRI’s research on
animal health, food safety and zoonoses. She
also leads a component on agriculture-
associated diseases under the new CGIAR
Research Program on agriculture for nutrition
and health. She has led around 50 studies on
food safety in informal markets of developing
countries over the last six years and is the
author of numerous chapters, scientific
papers and communication products.
