This course gets you started with writing device drivers in Linux by providing real time hardware exposure. Equip you with real-time tools, debugging techniques and industry usage in a hands-on manner. Dedicated hardware by Emertxe's device driver learning kit. Special focus on character and USB device drivers.
This presentation briefs about the Linux Kernel Module and Character Device Driver. This also contains sample code snippets. Also briefs about character driver registration and access.
Often called as the Swiss Army Knife of Embedded Linux, BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single small executable. It provides replacements for most of the utilities you usually find in GNU fileutils, shellutils, etc. It is written with size-optimization
and limited resources in mind. Here is a presentation that details about BusyBox.
The U-Boot is an "Universal Bootloader" ("Das U-Boot") is a monitor program that is under GPL. This production quality boot-loader is used as default boot loader by several board vendors. It is easily portable and easy to port and to debug by supporting PPC, ARM, MIPS, x86,m68k, NIOS, Microblaze architectures. Here is a presentation that introduces U-Boot.

Embedded Android system development workshop is focused on integrating new device with Android framework. Our hands-on approach makes Emertxe as the best institute to learn android system development training. This workshop deep dives into Android porting, Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), Android Services and Linux device driver ecosystem. This workshop based training program will enable you to efficiently integrate new hardware with Android HAL / Framework.
Linux has become integral part of Embedded systems. This three part presentation gives deeper perspective of Linux from system programming perspective. Stating with basics of Linux it goes on till advanced aspects like thread and IPC programming.
Part 02 Linux Kernel Module ProgrammingTushar B Kute
Presentation on "Linux Kernel Module Programming".
Presented at Army Institute of Technology, Pune for FDP on "Basics of Linux Kernel Programming". by Tushar B Kute (http://tusharkute.com).
The slides begins with introduction to the character drivers and then mentions the various APIs for registering the character driver. Dynamically creating the device file and IOCTL
In order to understand HAL layers of Android Framework, having Linux device driver knowledge is important. Hence Day-2 of the workshop focuses on the same.
Linux Kernel Booting Process (2) - For NLKBshimosawa
Describes the bootstrapping part in Linux, and related architectural mechanisms and technologies.
This is the part two of the slides, and the succeeding slides may contain the errata for this slide.
This is the detailed outline and outcomes of our driver programming project. Presentation at : http://www.slideshare.net/shivekkhurana/driver-programming-the-linux-way

Operating System Concepts PresentationNitish Jadia
Operating System Concepts was presented by Nitish Jadia in Bhopal null meet, to make people aware of the internal workings of the OS they use.
The contents and explanation of this PPT was inspired and taken from Operating System Concepts by by silberschatz galvin gagne.
This is a short introduction to some basic concepts about device drivers on Linux, and does not get into the nuts and bolts of it; uses a serial driver as an example, and how does it fit within the TTY layer. Includes code walk-through.
Windows Architecture Explained by StacksolStacksol
Now here we explained the windows architecture. The inside view of Microsoft Windows. The architecture of Windows NT, a line of operating systems produced and sold by Microsoft, is a layered design that consists of two main components, user mode and kernel mode.
Linux has become integral part of Embedded systems. This presentation gives deeper perspective of Linux from system programming perspective. Stating with basics of Linux it goes on till advanced aspects like system calls, process subsystem, inter process communication mechanisms, thread and various synchronization mechanisms like mutex and semaphores. Understanding these services provided by Linux are essential for embedded systems engineer. These constructs helps users to write efficient programs in Linux environment
This presentation is about -
embedded system programming,
What are device drivers?,
Types of device driver,
Recognizing device drivers,
Character Device Drivers,
Features of kernel programming,
Writing Character driver (loadable module) in linuxRajKumar Rampelli
It covers the step by step approach on how to write a simple loadable character device driver in linux. What are Device files in linux detail. How user application interact with character driver using a device file.
How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. 2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.
