• Design or composition – the process of organising the visual elements to
effect a desired aesthetic in a work of art.
• Lighting design – the organisation of light and color to create visual and
logical solutions.
• Design principles – unity, variety, balance, emphasis, focal point, rhythm,
scale and proportion
