• Migration from Version 1 to Version 2, no additional cost
• Support from the Springshare – responsive to emails
• Recommend a team of two to manage the transition, re
administrative processes & communications to library staff
• 7 Steps: request V2 site; play & learn; prepare content for
migration; migrate content from V1 to V2; clean up; moving
your V1 site to a new domain; go live

• V1 Pre-migration clean up, all libguide owners i.e. remove
unwanted content & check links working plus administrator
functions.
• Decide on migration date & initialise with Springshare
• No more changes to V1 thereafter!
• Creation of Libapps logins for staff re to view V2
• Review of data on V2 by library staff & administrator functions
• Set date for going ‘live’ – i.e. review of V2 complete & new
URL
• Once live with V2, library staff can still view data on V1 for
period 180 days
