Death of the Design Comp, Down with the KingNicole Mors
The comp is King...or used to be.
The design comp has had a long reign as the singular means by which a designer communicates design intention. Its power is garnered from a single screen landscape, but its prominence is rapidly coming to end as we move into an era of modular design in the Fluid Web. Designer Nicole Mors discusses the future of design communication in a post-comp world.
Guided Response As you read the responses of your classmates, con.docxJeanmarieColbert3
Guided Response:
As you read the responses of your classmates, consider how their negative educational experience could have been changed to support student learning. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts. Provide additional suggestions for them in creating their own positive, stimulating learning environment. Be sure to respond to any queries or comments posted by your instructor.

The biggest negative experience that I have had is with a previous employer, and it was my first day as a preschool teacher in a facility nearby. On my first day, I walked into a situation that made a huge impact on the way I viewed this facility. When I started that day, I was told that I would not be in “my classroom” that I would be filling in for a teacher that was out that day. I didn’t have an issue with that fact and was actually up for the challenge. But when I entered the classroom I noticed there were no rules, no structure, no lesson plans and the classroom was complete chaos. I managed to create some spur of the moment lessons and engaged in music as much as possible. Then when it was time for lunch, and I went to serve it, it was pure sugar and very unhealthy. I left for the day feeling defeated, tired, frustrated and stressed and nowhere to turn. I expressed my concerns throughout the day along with a lot of severe health issues to the owner and was brushed off. I care a lot about the children’s safety and their learning environment, and I felt like I was drowning. Needless to say, I ended up moving on from that position because I felt helpless and without a direction to improve anything.
I have had several positive experiences throughout my educational background. The classrooms were always welcoming, warm and inviting and it showed that the teachers cared about their classrooms and their students. Those classrooms made me excited about becoming a teacher and gave me something to work towards in the future.
“The foundation for successful learning and a safe and secure classroom climate is the relationship that teachers develop with their students (Sousa, Tomlinson, 2011)”. The teacher-student relationship is something that should be built on from day one. If the students do not trust or know you, they will feel uneasy and unsafe in the classroom environment. It is so important to form the relationship with your students to ensure communication and safety of your students. Another way to provide a positive learning environment is with your attitude. If you have a positive and fun attitude, it will show through your lessons and your students will enjoy being in your class every day which will affect how they learn. Lastly, the organization is a big key to a positive and stimulating learning environment. If your classroom is packed full of stuff or the students, do not know where materials are it can cause frustrations for you and your students.
I firmly believe there are no stupid questions! I want to ensure my stude.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Thesis Statement for students diagnonsed withADHD.ppt
Lety essay final project
1. Introduction
Although school bullying is commonly taken to refer to students bullying each
other, teachers can also be party to school bullying. Teachers can be involved in
bullying in three ways: as observers, as perpetrators, and as victims. As observers,
teachers
can
help
prevent
or
stop
bullying
or
perpetuate
it.
In this play“Silence Screams”we can observe a teenager (waldo) that is being
bullied by his classmates and his English teacher he got here one year ago from
the united states and just because he speaks the language natively his
traditionalist teacher(Irais ) hates him, according on what we learned on Mr. Jesus
Orozco class here we can see the teacher centered approach in where the teacher
is the only instructor where the teacher talks and the students only listen, work
alone, this makes a quiet environment and the students don’t have the opportunity
to express themselves, his mom (Nydia) observes his behavior changes, he doesn’t
want to go to school anymore, according on what we learned with Ms. Erica here
we can see that the effective filter the environment where he studies is not the
properly is really stressed and he doesn’t want to go to classes anymore he has
bad moods he also talks to his conscience,(Puppet Ms.Vicky) and this gives him
bad advices, according on what we saw with Ms. Rox here we can see how a
teenager talking to his conscience here we can see the imaginary audience and
the Egocentrism by his preoccupation with his own internal world. I think as a
future teachers we must understand the process that our students are going
through we must be comprehensible with them and try to understand that this is a
difficult change for them not only physical but emotional and maybe a little problem
for us could be the biggest problem for them. he misses his old friends he wants to
go back to the U.S.A she worries about her son and she gets afraid that her son
could be suffering bullying she gets desperate about the situation and she decides
to get help and she calls to the best TV show ever letty sin censuralooking for a
solution she explains the judge (Leticia) the situation and the teacher (Irais) gave
her point of view saying: that in her class there isn’t any problem she have been
teaching with the same method for 40 years ago, things have always been done
2. just like she saysaccording to Mr.Orozco here we can see the Teacher centered
she won’t change just because of the gringo student.according on what we learned
with Mr. Juan Antonio here we can see the traditionalist teacher that didn’t accept
any comments of his students she was the only one with the right to speak and
whatever she said it was right she also used an old method the “donkey ears” and
all the students make fun of their classmate. I think this is totally unacceptable as
a teacher we cannot accept any kind of bullying, we must leave behind our
paradigms, and try to think more like our students their likes and dislikes, use the
new technology and look for new methodologies to applied in class. The judge
(Leticia)asked her audience to give an opinion about this situation and a fan (Perla)
said: that the way that his classmates treat the teenager (Waldo) is not good their
classmates and teacher should be more comprehensible because he is in the
process of acquiring a second language According with Mrs. Ericahere we have
the error analysis where it says that a teacher must be patient and tolerant with
the students mistakes and a teacher must do feedbackshe also gave her opinion
about his teacher she thinks that she should change her methods, the judge
(Leticia) invited a Psychologist Doctor Anguila (Marco) to give his opinion saying
that her methods are very traditionalist and the environment that she is given is
not correct telling her that she must change her attitude and class methods
according on what we learned with Mrs. Erica here we can see the monitor
hypothesiswherea teacher must be a model for their students and must push them
to learned but not so hard a teacher must give them confident if they get a
mistake.i think this is really important for the students the judge (Leticia) gets all
the evidence, the testimonies she finally gets the Final Decision:That the teacher
(Irais) must change her methodology and leave behind her paradigms involve their
students in the class, get topics that the students are interested in and use the new
technologies
Conclusion
Bullying is common in this society, is something important because it destroys selfesteem and confidence of children. it will create difficulties in adapting to
3. society;they begin to get bad grades and also can commit suicide. That is why we
must be vigilant, dedicate one hundred percent in this task, because as future
teachers we are obliged to take action to bring about change .So that no child
suffers more and offender change his attitude, is difficult, but not impossible,
because we live in a society which is becoming more violent. Reflect on how to
deliver our values , love, and respect. Do not be indifferent to this, it is time to do
something, some say it's just a dream, but dreams can come true.
With effort you can create awareness and thus silence the silent cries of those who
suffer from this terrible disease, called bullying.
