12. In conclusion bullying is a serious problem. Just last week I know the radio station 100.9 shut off their music after 6pm for bullying. They had parents call in who’s children were being bullied, they wanted to make people aware of this problem. I personally know my sister is being bullied she is in 6 th grade and it is indirect bullying, but bullying! She comes home crying and I ask her if the teachers do anything about it and she said no! Teachers need to intervene anytime they feel bullying is occurring whether it be direct or indirect! Many school have a no bullying rule, but kids will find ways around it and the long term emotional effects should be reason enough for us as future educators to intervene and help stop bullying!
