5. Starter
List as many persuasive words as you can think of which
you could include in your radio advertisement. (2 minutes)
Once you have completed your list, share you list with
your partner and decide upon top 10 persuasive
words/phrases.
6. Activity One
You will receive a card which includes details of a product
or attraction as well as a target audience of whom you
need to persuade to buy/visit the product.
Using the information on the card, create a short piece of
persuasive writing for the intended target audience. (15
minutes)

Your partner will now become the target audience and you
will have to read your speech to them to try and persuade
them to buy the product/ visit the attraction.
