Part1 : Pre-training in ADDITECTURE headquarters training center
Theory Event Sample Activity
Reception 1.Gaining Attention Show students a volunteer work video clip. By
watching and paying attention to this video, Not
only students can figure out what they gonna do
in real workplace, but also they can get the
meaning and significance of GP program.

Lesson Objectives
Show students the introduction PPT of GP
program. Students will be informed the brief
contents and objectives of the lesson in pre-
training.

Prior Learning
Give a time to students to recall their volunteer
work experiences.

4.Presenting Stimulus
with Distinctive Features
Students will have a chance to see simulation of
overall playground structure and to listen to
mentors’ speech. Also, multimedia tools such as
PPT and video will be used at introduction part.

5.Guided Learning Students will be offered an explanation of
blueprints and function of facilities, etc. This
process will be done by experts.

presentation in front of other students.

learning (for example, about playing facilities or
about blueprints components) they will get proper

Theory Event Sample Activity
Reception 1.Gaining Attention On the first day in camp, students will attend the
admission ceremony at the auditorium. During this
process, students will have interest and attention
toward GP camp.

Students will attend the orientation. They will be
noticed about GP camp, will know the contents
and specific goals that are included in the
program.

Students will see a simulation of overall

During the whole process in GP camp, simulation
and multimedia tools will be actively used to help

  • 1. <Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction> Part1 : Pre-training in ADDITECTURE headquarters training center Theory Event Sample Activity Reception 1.Gaining Attention Show students a volunteer work video clip. By watching and paying attention to this video, Not only students can figure out what they gonna do in real workplace, but also they can get the meaning and significance of GP program. Executive Control 2.Inform Learner of Lesson Objectives Show students the introduction PPT of GP program. Students will be informed the brief contents and objectives of the lesson in pre- training. Retrieval 3.Stimulating Recall of Prior Learning Give a time to students to recall their volunteer work experiences. Selective Perception 4.Presenting Stimulus with Distinctive Features Students will have a chance to see simulation of overall playground structure and to listen to mentors’ speech. Also, multimedia tools such as PPT and video will be used at introduction part.
  • 2. Semantic Encoding 5.Guided Learning Students will be offered an explanation of blueprints and function of facilities, etc. This process will be done by experts. Response Organizatio n 6.Eliciting Performance Students will do team activity and make a presentation in front of other students. Reinforcem ent 7. Providing Informative Feedback When students have any question during their learning (for example, about playing facilities or about blueprints components) they will get proper and exact answer from experts immediately during the lesson. Activate Retrieval 8. Assessing Performance Provide an overall assessment about team presentation. Providing cues 9.Enhancing Retention and Learning Transfer Students will retain knowledge and information they newly gained. Also, they will give a helping hand to colleagues during and after lesson.

Part2 : GP Camp in CheongShim training center Theory Event Sample Activity Reception 1.Gaining Attention On the first day in camp, students will attend the admission ceremony at the auditorium. During this process, students will have interest and attention toward GP camp. Executive Control 2.Inform Learner of Lesson Objectives Students will attend the orientation. They will be noticed about GP camp, will know the contents and specific goals that are included in the program. Retrieval 3.Stimulating Recall of Prior Learning Students will see a simulation of overall playground structure, which they have already seen in pre-training. Selective Perception 4.Presenting Stimulus with Distinctive Features During the whole process in GP camp, simulation and multimedia tools will be actively used to help students.
  • 4. Semantic Encoding 5.Guided Learning To help students’ understanding, miniature models of playing facilities and photos in worksite will be used during their learning. Response Organizatio n 6.Eliciting Performance Students will elicit three big performances : They will use tools properly, will do making activity, will do safety education activity. Reinforcem ent 7. Providing Informative Feedback Informative feedback will be frequently provided. Offered feedback will be about the whole process, including not only about students’ performances, but also about their attitudes. Activate Retrieval 8. Assessing Performance Students will be assessed whether they have done well in making activity and safety education activity. Providing cues 9.Enhancing Retention and Learning Transfer Students will retain knowledge and information they newly gained. Also, they will give a helping hand to colleagues during and after lesson.
