3. III) Lesson
a) Introduction: Sing the song “Greater than less than song”
b) Enactive The teacher will put a random number of balls in a bucket and
ask the students how many balls are in the bucket
c) The teacher will do this three to five times
d) The teacher now give the students a bucket each.
e) The teacher will call a student and ask him to put a certain number of
balls into the bucket
f) As a way of checking, the teacher will see if the student put the
correct number of balls by counting the balls in the bucket and showing
all the students
g) The student will ask all the students to do the same if time permits
h) The teacher will get a math flashcard wherein the students can count the
number of objects and the number symbol is also present
i) The teacher will show flash cards with only the symbols and ask them to
identify the numbers
