Story telling is an exciting part of kindergarten where teachers select engaging stories that consider both boys' and girls' interests. The teacher should allow all children to pick a book to read and involve them in telling popular stories to keep them engaged. When the teacher tells stories, children use their imagination and sometimes see themselves as the main character, enjoying when the teacher changes their voice or uses pictures and puppets which helps catch their attention.

The teachers, Mrs. DeYoung and Mrs. Pascual, wanted something to encourage more parent involvement. Our group designed 8 activity bags centered around storybooks. Each bag includes materials for fine motor, literacy, math and other skills related to the story. The goal was to help parents spend quality time with their children and support learning at home.
