1. October 8 th , 2010 Good Morning 617! We had already learned what is a text-to-self connection through reading a book called “First Day Jitters” last week. Today, we will read a new story and review the idea of text-to-self connection. It is a very interesting story. You will like it! 5. Miss Viola Swamp in the story reminds me of a teacher when I was in 9 th grade. She was an awful math teacher. I did not like her because she made us do a lot of homework and gave us bad grades all the time. She never smiled to the students and always dressed in black. She killed my interests in learning math.
