A Transfer Function is the ratio of the output of a system to
the input of a system, in the Laplace domain considering its

In signal processing, specifically control theory,
bounded-input, bounded-output (BIBO) stability is a
form of stability for linear signals and systems that take
inputs.
If a system is BIBO stable, then the output will be
bounded for every input to the system that is bounded.

– An increase in signal power, voltage or current by an amplifier,
expressed as the ratio of output to input.
