Color influences human mood and can convey emotions. There are three primary colors - red, blue, and yellow - that can be mixed to create secondary colors. Different color schemes like monochromatic, analogous, and complementary set moods in art by using similar, adjacent, or opposite colors on the color wheel respectively. A color's value refers to how light or dark it is through the use of tints and shades.
