The City of Greenville, SC received a $1.8 million grant to support a 3-year community planning project focused on connecting affordable housing, transportation, economic development, and open spaces on the city's west side. The planning effort will include citywide and west side planning, education and outreach programs, and extensive community involvement through focus teams and public meetings. The goal is to create a more sustainable and livable community on the west side through an integrated planning process.
