WHAT ARE ARCHITECTURAL
SYMBOLS
The architectural symbols are the symbols which are
used in architectural drawing as annotation for
different items like brick, concrete, doors, windows,
plaster, furniture, landscape etc.
These symbols are accepted world wide.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF
ARCHITECTURAL SYMBOLS
The architectural symbols are divided into three
different types namely:
Material hatching
Architectural symbols
Sizes or standard of architectural items.
Material Hatching:
This includes the symbols which are used for the
materials like earth, gravel, concrete, stone etc.
Architectural symbols:
This include the symbols for architectural works
like dimensions, North, section line etc.
Sizes or standard of architectural items.
This include the symbols for architectural items like
doors, windows, water closet, wash basin, urinals
etc.

DISCUSSED ABOVE.

First draft in light pencil ( h grade) after that final it with HB or
B grade pencil.
