external environment as there is “no one best
way to manage”.
 Business strategy is a plan of action designed
to achieve a long-term or overall aim.
 A tool to assimilate the vision and mission
into achievable objectives.
 Broadly the strategy involves an integrated
organizational approach by using the
Balanced Score Card.
 Strategy has to be aligned to meet the vision
and mission of the organization
 A Mission Statement defines the company's
business, its objectives and its approach to reach
those objectives. A Vision Statement describes the
desired future position of the company. Elements
of Mission and Vision Statements are often
combined to provide a statement of the company's
purposes, goals and values.

A Vision Statement describes the desired future position of the company. Elements of Mission and Vision Statements are often combined to provide a statement of the company's purposes, goals and values.
