 Name as Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani
 Born on December 28 ,1932 , at Chorwad
Gujarat into a modh family.
 His entrepreneurial career started by selling
“bhajias” to pilgrims in Mount Girnar .
After doing his matriculation at the age of
16,Dhirubahi moved to Aden, Yemen and
return to India by 1958. He start business with
his cousin Champaklal Damani with
rs.1500.But in 1965 the partnership was broken.
Dhirubhai Ambani started his textiles mill at
Ahemdabad and start making textiles with
polyester and named by his elder brother son
Vimal Ambani.
