organization development referring to team ,
organizational or virtual groups that are
highly focused on their goals .

of resolving conflict does not become a
roadblock to achieving the team goals.

 Organizational development is a deliberating
planned, organizational – wide effort to
increase an organization effectiveness and

achieve its strategies goals.
 Organizational development is an on going
systematic process of implementing effective
organizational change and as a field of
scientific study and inquiry.
 A team is a group of people who must
collaborate to achieve common goals , and
who assume responsibility for the functioning
and performance of the group .
 Forming – the forming stage occur when
team member first come together as a team.
 Storming – during the storming stage teams
discover team work is more difficult than they
expected.
 Norming – the norming stage being as the
team moves beyound the storming stage &
being to function as a team.
 Performing – when a team reaches the
performing as a high performing team.
 There has been a great deal with written
about transformational leader , but much less
about transformational leadership.
 Characteristics :
 they clearly see the themselves as change
agent.

 they are life long learners.
 they are visionaries.
 they are driven by a strong set of values.

For a team to be successful it need a
clear commission from those who bring it into being .
This include a clear purpose and defined success
criteria by which the performance of team will be
assessed.

Having a clear purpose strategy &
vision that every one has signed up to its one thing ,
living it is a completely different challenges.

Being well commissioned clear
about what you are doing & co-creative in
how you work together.

 Warid telecom is a joint venture between ABU
DHABI group .
 In July 2007 , telecom acquired 30% equity
stake in Warid telecom Pakistan for US
$758million.
 This partnership is part of a strategy to
support Warid telecom continued growth & to
enhance its market position.
