The Brand Finance Global 500 2013 puts Apple and Samsung right at the very top of the best brands in the world, ahead of Coca-Cola and Google.
Samsung smartphones are broadly comparable, feature-for-feature, with competitors like HTC, Sony, LG and now Nokia, so why has it become so dominant? A big part of the answer lies in its sheer marketing muscle – Samsung spends a bigger chunk of its annual revenue on advertising and promotion than any other of the world's top-20 companies by sales – 5.4%, according to Thomson Reuters data. Apple spends just 0.6%, and General Motors 3.5%.
Adverts mocking Apple fans, and heavy investment in product placement and in distribution channels have strengthened its Galaxy mobile brand. Samsung now sells one in every three smartphones and has more than double Apple’s market share.
Moon Ji-hun, head of brand consultant Interbrand's Korean operation, adds: “When your brand doesn't have a clear identity, as is the case with Samsung, to keep spending is probably the best strategy. But maintaining marketing spend at that level in the longer term wouldn't bring much more benefit. No one can beat Samsung in terms of ad presence, and I doubt whether keeping investing at this level is effective.”
Apple may sit in top position now, but has lost its mojo over the last couple of years through lackluster product releases and perceived lack of innovation. Abstract:
This paper proposes a system to differentiate between human-generated and AI-generated texts using stylometric analysis. The system analyzes text files and classifies writing styles by employing various clustering algorithms, such as k-means, k-means++, hierarchical, and DBSCAN. The effectiveness of these algorithms is measured using silhouette scores. The system successfully identifies distinct writing styles within documents, demonstrating its potential for plagiarism detection.
Introduction:
Stylometry, the study of linguistic and structural features in texts, is used for tasks like plagiarism detection, genre separation, and author verification. This paper leverages stylometric analysis to identify different writing styles and improve plagiarism detection methods.
Methodology:
The system includes data collection, preprocessing, feature extraction, dimensional reduction, machine learning models for clustering, and performance comparison using silhouette scores. Feature extraction focuses on lexical features, vocabulary richness, and readability scores. The study uses a small dataset of texts from various authors and employs algorithms like k-means, k-means++, hierarchical clustering, and DBSCAN for clustering.
Results:
Experiments show that the system effectively identifies writing styles, with silhouette scores indicating reasonable to strong clustering when k=2. As the number of clusters increases, the silhouette scores decrease, indicating a drop in accuracy. K-means and k-means++ perform similarly, while hierarchical clustering is less optimized.
Conclusion and Future Work:
The system works well for distinguishing writing styles with two clusters but becomes less accurate as the number of clusters increases. Future research could focus on adding more parameters and optimizing the methodology to improve accuracy with higher cluster values. This system can enhance existing plagiarism detection tools, especially in academic settings.

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
Understanding Inductive Bias in Machine LearningSUTEJAS
This presentation explores the concept of inductive bias in machine learning. It explains how algorithms come with built-in assumptions and preferences that guide the learning process. You'll learn about the different types of inductive bias and how they can impact the performance and generalizability of machine learning models.
The presentation also covers the positive and negative aspects of inductive bias, along with strategies for mitigating potential drawbacks. We'll explore examples of how bias manifests in algorithms like neural networks and decision trees.
By understanding inductive bias, you can gain valuable insights into how machine learning models work and make informed decisions when building and deploying them.

INTRODUCTION:
Mobile phones are nowadays basic need for everyone. We use it to keep in touch with our family and
friends, Browse, gaming, and for various other purposes. The mobile industries have strong
competition and they are forced to bring new technological innovations, and marketing strategies.
Samsung is one of the trusted brands in mobile market. It has been growing steadily in Pakistani
market. The camera ability become more smarter especially for taking photo at low light situations
because this camera already use bigger aperture number at f/1.5. Samsung has good distribution
network which helps it to reach the market. To develop the ways in which it create new product and
develops new and real markets with a view to offering its customers fitter service.

SUMMARY:
As we know that mobile industries have strong competition and they are forced to bring new
technological innovations, and marketing strategies. Samsung is one of the trusted brands in mobile
market. It has been growing steadily in Pakistani market. So we are going to launch a new product of
mobile named as “SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 PLUS” in market. The trouble is that, last year, that’s
where the differences ended between the two Galaxy S8 phones and we were reluctant to recommend
the Plus. This year, the gap has widened and there’s more to differentiate the two.
That’s because Samsung has finally added dual-camera capability to one of its mainstream flagship
phones and the result is that the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus now has a lot more to entertain his
customers.
Below is the image of Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and its specs:
5. Page 4 of 5
Of course there's a lot more to the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. As with the regular S9, the S9 Plus looks as
pretty as a picture and comes in the same range of colours as the Galaxy S9. So we have Midnight
Black, Coral Blue and that oh-so-lovely Lilac Purple, which catches the light in all the right ways. No
sign of pink this year and that has to be a good thing.
Samsung has also moved the fingerprint reader on the S9+ to just below the second camera in the
middle, which is much more sensible, although it’s still too small and not inset far enough for my liking.
This is something Samsung still needs to do some work on.
Samsung has also improved the fingerprint enrolment process so it takes only two to three swipes of the
finger instead of the 16 dabs it required previously. That’s not a huge benefit because although it is a
little quicker, you have to swipe rather than simply tap your finger on the reader, so it’s more awkward.
PROBLEMS:
Our product S9 had some problems like Fragile glass front and back means you should buy a case day
1. The new face-unlock tool is not particularly secure (it might have been better for Samsung
to build out a more refined version before rushing in to compete with the similar feature on the iPhone
X). While the camera is great generally, it can sometime make low-light photos look blurry and lack
detail - even though brightness levels is excellent and noise is minimal - so its sometimes a double
edged sword. The S9 also lacks the second rear lens that's dedicated to creating those depth-of-field
portrait shots that blur the background to make people and objects pop. S9 is with no doubt a great
premium package which stands firm on a lot of bases, but fails to succeed in a few areas.
SUGGESTIONS:
In Samsung Galaxy S9 we were facing some problems. So here in our new product (“Samsung Galaxy
S9 Plus”) we suggested some amazing ideas which will overcome its limitations up to a great extent.
The camera ability became smarter especially for taking photo at low light situations because this
camera already use bigger aperture number at f/1.5.
This is the first Smartphone from Samsung which use this aperture number. More bigger aperture
number will make camera able to take more ambient light when capture object, therefore we do not
need light flash too much when taking photos at low light room.
In SAMSUNG GALAXY S9+ (PLUS) we use dual camera 12 megapixel (f/1.5) for telephoto and 12
megapixel (f/2.4) for wide angle, if combining both camera then SAMSUNG GALAXY S9+ (PLUS)
will have 2x optical zoom abilities.
It also improved the autofocus function to make faster focus with phase detection autofocus. Both
Camera have Optical Images Stabilization OIS to reduce hand shake when taking pictures or record
video at any moment.
When the time Samsung Galaxy S9 PLUS release in the market, this phone try to give better camera
experience for everyone. Therefore they give more features and capabilities.
CONCLUSION:
The conclusion of this research of Samsung Mobile S9 Plus is expected to show another success by
making the right strategic decision. They have positioned their products well, and they have let their
customers know they are offering something for everyone. This research each study helps the
company to make right position of product in the market. These studies help the researches for further
research.
