3. IMac i7
The IMac i7 is the platform our group will use to create and present our
final products. The computer has the Adobe Photoshop CS4 software
and Final Cut Pro installed in; this will give us the opportunity to work on
creating the ancillary task and editing of trailer anytime we wish during
school time. With all of the IMacs being stand-alone it will not intervene
with the rest of the computers in the school therefore if there is a
connection problem; this will not cause setbacks on the deadline which
will avoid stress and disputes for the rest of the group.
The wide screen of 21.5 inches will allow for great screen quality
therefore the precision of our editing will be much greater.
A limitation of this equipment is that other groups may leave their work
on a computer our group is working on; this could cause setbacks and
disagreements if a group wished to work on the particular screen. A way
in which this can be solved is by having a copy of the work on a USB or
having the work on multiple computers.

5. External Microphone
Regardless of the microphone feature on the camera we are
using to film, it is more effective to use the external component
as it supports greater sound quality which will accompany the
visual aspect much better; this will overall improve the quality of
the product. We have the ability to use a Shotgun microphone;
due to its shape it will be able to pick up and focus on dialogue
better in a noisy and crowded place. One of the main limitations
that an external mic has is that it has to be switched on too it will
not automatically turn on when the camera is filming; this can be
a negative aspect as the camera may not be able to pick up the
exact content it previously had or the actors/surrounding is not
the same; this will waste time in the production stages.

7. Reflector
This equipment is used to provide additional lighting for
photographs for the poster or film magazine cover. This tool
can help change the colour of the pictures which can alter the
whole mood and add a more natural effect rather than harsh
lights.The reflector can be used outside as it does not require a
power source; this makes it more convenient to use. A
limitation which it holds is that the school only has 3 to use for
both classes which could stop us from using it when its needed
however this can be solved by completing other tasks. There
are two different reflective surfaces available; the harsher light
which is transmitted from the silver side while the softer light is
the white area; by having two reflectors in one it cuts down
costs and also increases the variety.

9. Monopod
The monopod available for use is one of the best models
on the market due to its compact and high quality
material and components. The ability of extending this
equipment to a higher length it will give us a larger
variety of shorts; this will put us in a better position for
our trailer as we will be able to show more versatile
position of the camera. This will be easy to carry around
if we were to take multiple shots in different areas also
due to the material it will not be heavy or uncomfortable
to hold for a prolonged time.

11. Go Pro Camera
This video camera is in a smaller dimension as it can be
placed on objects or actors; this will be able to create a
more realistic effect on scenes that have chasing or first-view-
points which will help the audience be more
connected with the plot and the protagonist. The camera
will not be used for a long period of time as the material
shot on a Go Pro will mainly be for effect therefore the
battery power that is has of one hour is more than
enough. One of the qualities that the camera has is that it
is water resistant therefore if it raining we will not have to
worry about the potential damage also it is very easy to
work with as it normally only has one button.
