Doing this film project taught me a lot about using new software like After Effects. I had to learn how to use tools like Particular to create effects like comets. I struggled with more advanced techniques like optical zooms but feel more practice would help. Through trial and error, I overcame issues with keyframes and animating objects. As the camera operator, I improved my filming skills over time but still need more practice to fully break bad habits. This project showed me where I need to focus my software and filming skills training through more practice.

Mrs. Ealy's 2nd grade class had a Halloween party and many students were out sick with the flu. She reminds parents to have children wash hands and cover sneezes to prevent spreading germs. The class started a book and bag reading program but some students still need to return document portfolios. In school, the class is learning about telling time in math, changing voice tones in reading, writing stories, and learning about communities in social studies. Upcoming events include no school on November 6th and a parent-teacher meeting on November 12th.

Mrs. Ealy's 2nd grade class is starting a new science unit on properties of materials and mixtures. The students have enjoyed classifying and describing different materials. Next week they will continue classifying materials and start learning about mixtures. In other subjects, the students are learning about addition and subtraction diagrams in math, character traits in reading, and varying sentence structure in writing. They also have no school next week for Thanksgiving.

Tech quest telford
The teacher implemented student response clickers, also known as clickers, in their second grade classroom to allow for more formative assessments to better guide instruction. The initial implementation took longer than expected, as the students needed to learn how to use the clickers and the teacher forgot to provide instructions on correcting answers. However, the clickers provided assessment data, such as averages and item analysis, more quickly than traditional paper tests once familiarity increased. While the in-class time was longer, the teacher's time for grading and analysis was reduced. The teacher plans to refine the implementation process based on lessons learned.
