Common symptoms include hoarseness, sore throat, coughing, and difficulty swallowing or breathing. Laryngitis is often caused by overuse of the voice, acid reflux, allergies, bronchitis, or bacterial/viral infections such as colds and pneumonia.

causes them to swell and cause hoarseness or
complete loss of voice.
