3. HISTORY
The Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Family known simply as the “sacred
family” is a Barcelonian catholic basilica designed by the architect Antoni
Gaudi. In 1883,Gaudí took over as chief architect, transforming the project
with his architectural and engineering style, combining gothic and
curvilinear art nouveau forms. Gaudí dedicated the rest of his life to the
project, and he is now buried in the crypt. At the time of his death at age 73
in 1926, less than a quarter of the project was complete.
4. NOW A DAYS
As you know the
Sagrada Familya isn’t
finished yet but tourist
can visit it. The temple
is the most important
building of Barcelona
and because that last
year ( on 2018 ) the
temple get the
amazing number of
4,5 million visitors.
