Abstract Buckling is a critical state of stress and deformation, at which a slight disturbance causes a gross additional deformation, or perhaps a total structural failure of the part. Structural behavior of the part beyond 'buckling' is not evident from the normal arguments of static. Buckling failures do not depend on the strength of the material, but are a function of the component dimensions & modulus of elasticity. Therefore, materials with a high strength will buckle just as quickly as low strength ones. If a structure is subject to compressive loads, then a buckling analysis may be necessary. The study presented in this paper is intended to help designers of steel braced barrel vaults by identifying the significant differences in determining which configuration(s) would be best in different conditions of use. The study presented is of parametric type and covers several other important parameters like rise to span ratio, different boundary conditions, such that barrel vault acts as an arch, as a beam or as a shell, The buckling strength of a three different configuration of a double layer braced barrel vaults are presented in this paper for rise/span ratio varying from 0.2-0.7 and having four different types of boundary conditions. Through consideration of these parameters, the paper presents an assessment of the effect of the vault configuration on the overall buckling strength. Abstract Beam and column where intersects is called as joint or Connection. The different types of joints are classified as corner joint, exterior joint, interior joint etc. on beam column joint applying quasi-static loading .i. e. monotonic loading on cantilever end of the beam and study of various parameters as to be find out on corner and exterior beam column joint i.e. maximum stress, minimum stress, displacement and variation in stiffness of beam column joint can be analyzed in Ansys software ( Non-Linear FEM Software) The various research studies focused on corner and exterior beam column joints and their behavior, support conditions of beam-column joints. Some recent experimental studies, however, addressed beam-column joints of substandard RC frames with weak columns, poor anchorage of longitudinal beam bars and insufficient transverse reinforcement. the behavior of exterior beam column joint is different than the corner beam column joint. ANALYSIS OF HIGH RISE SILO ON THE BASIS OF DIFFERENT LOAD WITH SHEAR WALL

This paper presents a reinforced concrete beam-column joint model that was carried out for cyclic earthquake loading. The beam-column joint is the most important part of a building and modelling such an element and determining its structural behavior under the effect of seismic citations is essential to avoid losing lives and money. The non-linear analysis consisted of two types: (1) Non-linear static analysis that includes applying cyclic earthquake loading and (2) Non-linear dynamic analysis that involves applying three real historic earthquakes with different frequencies and magnitudes. The crack pattern analysis was established for non-linear static and non-linear dynamic to determine the worst-case scenario in terms of crack size. Another beneficial analysis was seismic analysis, which targeted the critical response time by which the maximum axial force, displacement and stress has occurred for applied real earthquakes. It was found that the structure sustained all the applied real earthquakes, however failure of the structure took place during the third cycle (50mm) of cyclic earthquake loading. After comparing the results with previous published work it was observed that the size of the reinforcement bars plays a major role in terms of load carrying capacity of the structure. It was observed that cracks occurred mostly under the Friuli earthquake due to the highest magnitude among other earthquakes. There was a variation in the location of cracks within the structure for each earthquake. Intermediate and major cracks occurred during the third cycle (50mm) of cyclic earthquake loading within the joint. The cracks were developed and increased as the cycle was increased leading to cracks across the joint after the forth and fifth cycles and failure of the structure. Although the critical response time for the Friuli earthquake was lower than the other earthquakes it was the most active and had a larger effect on the model. This is because the Friuli earthquake had the highest magnitude among applied earthquakes. The results obtained from the author’s model were used to suggest some recommendations on Eurocode 8: Design of structures for earthquake resistance. General rules, seismic actions and rules for buildings (2004) BS EN 1998-1: 2004 to improve the performance of beam-column joints during earthquakes. The main reasons for beam-column joint failure are due to the transverse steel which crosses diagonal cracks and begins yielding, anchorage failure of reinforcement, loss in moment carrying capacity of columns near joints and the opening and closing of cracks due to cyclic loading.

In this short lecture, I explain the fundamentals of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), the basic coupling model and coupling paths via cables, electric fields, magnetic fields and wave fields. We also look at electric vehicles as an example of systems with many conducted EMC problems due to power electronic devices such as rectifiers and inverters with non-linear components such as diodes and fast switching components such as MOSFETs or IGBTs. After a brief review of circuit analysis fundamentals and an experimental investigation of the frequency-dependent impedance of resistors, capacitors and inductors, we look at a simple low-pass filter. The transfer function is derived and measured.

In this study, using the fuzzy logic method, a stress detection tool was created with body temperature and blood pressure parameters as indicators to determine a person's stress level. This tool uses the LM35DZ sensor to detect body temperature, the MPX5100GP sensor to read blood pressure values, and Arduino Uno as a data processor from sensor readings which are then calculated using the fuzzy logic method as a stress level decisionmaker. The resulting output measures blood pressure, body temperature, and the stress level experienced by a person, which will be displayed on the liquid crystal display. Based on the results of testing the body temperature parameter, the highest error generated was 1.17%, and for the blood pressure parameter, the highest error was 2.5% for systole and 0.93% for diastole. Furthermore, testing the stress level displayed on the tool is compared to the depression, anxiety, and stress scales 42 (DASS 42), a psychological stress measuring instrument. From the results of testing the tool with the questionnaire, the average conformity level is 74%.
