Accounts Manager and Payroll Specialist.

-Responsible for Full life-cycle accounting - Receive, review and accurately record all AR and AP
Accounts.
-Perform bank reconciliations, accounting, client billing, and collections.
-Develop, implement and maintain internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities
such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
-Develop, implement and maintain chart of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
-Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of
current computer technology; OnQ PMS and PeopleSoft.
-Develop, maintain, and prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
-Perform accurate and timely Bank Reconciliations.
-Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and
directives, and current government cost accounting standards.
-Coordinate and assist other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and
procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
-Advise management on short-term and long-term Accounting objectives, policies, and actions.
-Conduct accounting research to promote best practices and compliance with US GAAP.
-Responsible for the preparation and processing of full cycle weekly payroll for over 600 employees;
-Process full cycle weekly employee payroll in ADP and PeopleSoft.
-Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets.
-Update employee change status for benefits, 401k, and other approved payroll deductions.
-Use excel to sort EPAF for pay-codes (PTOs, vacations & sick days) and upload to ADP.
-Review and post payroll journal entries, prepare manual entries as needed
-Process wage garnishments and tax liens.
-Assist with Human Resource duties including I9s, employee verifications, and orientations.
-Reconcile and balance payroll account and prep for Audits.
