NIVEL PRIMARIO
REFLECTIVE CYCLE
CONCRETE EXPERIENCE
I have been working with this group since March, some of them I know from Primary School. It is a
heterogenous group because some students are from others tows and a student is from a rural school
therefore the first classes everyone has different English knowledge then at first I don´t speak
English all the class sometimes I need to speak in Spanish to explain the slogans and the grammar.
Now they are working with the same contents , a coursebook and the same activities and I try to
speak English all the class , it is useful because they need to pay attention to understand and then
they can incorporate the usual vocabulary in a natural way.
Taking into account the contents previously seen and the activities that they have already known I
planned these three practicum classes with activities to teach the Simple Present´s grammar , the
adverbs of frequency and the interrogative word How often, but with vocabulary that they had
already seen before, to make it easier the comprehension of affirmative, negative and interrogative
forms of all pronouns.
The introduction of the verbs that imply a routine, they had already seen it in two previous classes in
the first person, they worked on the written part and orality, which allowed them to assimilate with
more ease the grammar in the rest of the people in a natural way. .
REFLECTIVE OBSERVATION
I used tools and resources that we have in the classroom as the projector but maybe I don´t use it
daily, achieving faster and fun classes changing the classes´routines with the board and the Cd player.
Students could watch the videos and the power points through the projector and they could interact
with orals activities , they were fun classes they enjoyed them a lot.
I speak English all the class if they didn´t understand the task I repeated several time, it was great,
with patience they could understand .
ABSTRACT CONCEPTUALISATION
It is a great experience to work and teach in a group of thirty three students. Teaching in different
groups is always a learning, because not everyone learns and internalizes explanations in the same way,
so I can put into practice different strategies and methodologies according to different ways of
learning and always attending to diversity.
I think that in this group according with the age, PPP Approach is useful because students could work
with the new task in different stages in a natural way.
ACTIVE EXPERIMENTATION
I have the opportunity to develop more classes then I would try to develop more classroom strategies,
because sometimes I didn´t get student´s attention some of them talking at the back of the
classroom , obviously they are thirty three students and it is difficult that everyone pay attention in
the same way although in general they are many but very quiet.
I also think that sometimes I have to plan less activities because sometimes somebone asks something
or has a doubt then I need to stop the explanation or the activity to explain the tasks or the activity
again, these situation take time then I sometimes can´t give all the activities planning.

Taller de Práctica Docente 2018 Tutora: Prof. Aurelia Velázquez Alumna: Claudia Poey NIVEL PRIMARIO REFLECTIVE CYCLE CONCRETE EXPERIENCE I have been working with this group since March, some of them I know from Primary School. It is a heterogenous group because some students are from others tows and a student is from a rural school therefore the first classes everyone has different English knowledge then at first I don´t speak English all the class sometimes I need to speak in Spanish to explain the slogans and the grammar. Now they are working with the same contents , a coursebook and the same activities and I try to speak English all the class , it is useful because they need to pay attention to understand and then they can incorporate the usual vocabulary in a natural way. Taking into account the contents previously seen and the activities that they have already known I planned these three practicum classes with activities to teach the Simple Present´s grammar , the adverbs of frequency and the interrogative word How often, but with vocabulary that they had already seen before, to make it easier the comprehension of affirmative, negative and interrogative forms of all pronouns. The introduction of the verbs that imply a routine, they had already seen it in two previous classes in the first person, they worked on the written part and orality, which allowed them to assimilate with more ease the grammar in the rest of the people in a natural way. . REFLECTIVE OBSERVATION I used tools and resources that we have in the classroom as the projector but maybe I don´t use it daily, achieving faster and fun classes changing the classes´routines with the board and the Cd player. Students could watch the videos and the power points through the projector and they could interact with orals activities , they were fun classes they enjoyed them a lot. I speak English all the class if they didn´t understand the task I repeated several time, it was great, with patience they could understand .
  • 2. ABSTRACT CONCEPTUALISATION It is a great experience to work and teach in a group of thirty three students. Teaching in different groups is always a learning, because not everyone learns and internalizes explanations in the same way, so I can put into practice different strategies and methodologies according to different ways of learning and always attending to diversity. I think that in this group according with the age, PPP Approach is useful because students could work with the new task in different stages in a natural way. ACTIVE EXPERIMENTATION I have the opportunity to develop more classes then I would try to develop more classroom strategies, because sometimes I didn´t get student´s attention some of them talking at the back of the classroom , obviously they are thirty three students and it is difficult that everyone pay attention in the same way although in general they are many but very quiet. I also think that sometimes I have to plan less activities because sometimes somebone asks something or has a doubt then I need to stop the explanation or the activity to explain the tasks or the activity again, these situation take time then I sometimes can´t give all the activities planning.
