or her faith. Nathaniel Hawthorne uses rhetorical devices to draw comparisons
between characters and events in The Scarlet Letter and Biblical figures and

Racial Stereotyping, racism, gender stereotyping and sexism are some of the
strengths of South Park. This TV show was created with a purpose to make racism
and sexism funny and acceptable.
South Park is a television show that was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. It
circumvents the lives of 4 boys namely Eric Cartmen, Kenny McCormick, Stan
Marsh and Kyle Broflovski around the town of Colorado. This show mainly aims at
picking up various stereotypes in different societies and making fun of them. It is
highly racist and makes fun of different genders and performs the act of gender ...

Analysing the character of Stan Marsh. This character has been modeled around
Trey Parker and obviously is one of the more stable characters of the show whereas
Kyle is modeled after Matt Stone and this character also displays a certain amount
of stability. Throughout the series there are accounts of his deep friendship
between Stan and Kyle. Since the creators are best friends from college, in many
of the episodes there is a reference to their undying friendship, They have their
fights but they do so without having any long term effect on their friendship. Stan
also maintained a close relation with Kenny and at many a times Kenny has
confessed, Stan is the best friend a guy could ever have. Stan is also the only
character who has a stable relationship with Wendy. All in all he portrays a much
subtle version of the characters of South Park. But at the same time Stan is foul

Another thing I found interesting in this article is that Gallup as well as other
major organizations use sample sizes of 1,000 1,500 because these sample sizes are
enough to give a good balance of accuracy opposed to much larger samples which
would be very expensive. I hadn t considered expense when it comes to collecting a
sample but apparently it can be very costly. For instance, if a sample size of 4,000
were selected each time there was a poll, the increase in accuracy would be very
small, and would not justify the increase in cost. Now, I believe this to be true
because I do think that the people behind things like the Gallop Poll are very smart
statisticians and would not lie when it comes to what effects the sample size has on
the accuracy of results. It makes absolute sense to me that specific ways of
measuring the accuracy of samples have been done for many years and the processes
and results have been analyzed thoroughly with each design.
The poll of such a small number of people do not invalidate the results since for
instance, as stated in the article, if the sample size was raised to 2,000 instead of
1,000, for a Gallup Poll there would be a gain of only 1% in terms of accuracy, and

concentrations and different volumes to work out which ones would produce the

In Phantasmagoria, one story that the group performed that really stuck out to me
was The Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allen Poe. To sum the short story up, it
is about a prince named Prospero who hides away in his castle with his wealthy
friends trying to hide from The Red Death , which in the play is shown as a
skeleton like ghoul, but in the actual story, the Red Death plague is personified by
a victim of it. There were many performers in the show, I heard all of their names,
but in truth the names were not important. For the show itself, all the characters
had names, but they acted out and performed poems and short stories, in which
they went under different aliases, so it is difficult to have kept all the names in
check. My favorite aesthetic choice of this performance actually ties all four of the
choices together. It was the Victorian theme of the performance that really caught
my eye and excited me. They played Victorian aged music for certain parts of the
performance, and one of the cast members even played a cello during certain
dramatic monologues. The costumes in this performance reminded me of the gypsies
in the Robert Downey Junior Sherlock Holmes movie, which went so well with the
